POLLUTING

"I want my mommy", the little girl spoke stubbornly with both her arms strapped obediently against the chair. "Let me go."

"You won't see her for a while so shut up kid." The man responded with a mouthful of french fries without moving his gaze away from the television. 

"If you don't send me back to her she's gonna come to you." She spoke again, this time with a threatening tone in her voice, "You're not going to like it."

"Oh I'd really like to see her try that," he giggled and swallowed forcefully as if the food was not thoroughly chewed. "She's probably still waiting for you to get off school, except you'll never get home, then she'll realize something's wrong, and then she'll send me my money, and then maybe, maybe you'll see her." 

"She's not that stupid..." The girl whimpered but had sparkles in her deep, brown eyes. "I'm giving you one last chance, take me home or you'll be sorry."

"You know what, you're pretty damn annoying," the man finally turned around and walked over to her chair. He took off his maroon colored sock and stuffed it in her mouth. The girl gagged but did not take her eyes off him as he walked back to his seat in front of the television.

Muffles. 

The man was suddenly interrupted by a series of urgent thumps on the door. He turned around to look at the girl and saw her in the same position. He laughed, "What, your mommy here for you now?" 

He walked over to the door, looked out the peep hole but saw nothing but darkness. But right when he was about to turn back he heard the thumps again, this time even heavier and faster. "What the hell..." he turned the knob and opened the door.

Before he even had the time to react, the man was attacked by a large dog crouched on the ground waiting for him. The man collapsed on the ground with a large thud and tried to fend off the lean, black dog. However, his face was quickly shredded and was left bare and red like ground meat, his limbs shrieking with pain and sounds of a drill trailing from his throat.

Muffles.

The dog's sharp black ears twitched and quickly turned to the girl's direction. It ran towards her and bit off the ropes constraining her. The girl stood up and pulled the damp, red sock out of her mouth with disgust, looking like she just spat out some type of organ. She glared at the tingling man and laughed naively.

"I told you so," she said with childishness written all over her face. 

Muffles.

"Let's go home now Mommy." She patted the dog's shiny ebony coat and slammed the door shut as they walked out.
